1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Foralink, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. We may update these terms from time to time and will notify users of material changes.
2. Use of the platform
Foralink is intended for legitimate business use. You must not use the platform to submit false or misleading project information, impersonate another person or organisation, attempt to circumvent the matching process, or engage in any unlawful activity.
3. Businesses
Businesses may post project briefs for free. By posting a brief, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and that you have the authority to engage a software development agency for the project described. Foralink does not guarantee a match will be found for every project.
4. Agencies
Agencies pay a monthly subscription to be listed on Foralink and receive matched project briefs. Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. Foralink reserves the right to remove any agency from the platform that violates these terms or receives sustained negative feedback.
5. AI-generated content
Project scope documents are generated using AI and are provided for reference only. Foralink makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of AI-generated content. Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying scope documents before sharing them with agencies.
6. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of any project information and content you submit. By submitting content to Foralink, you grant us a limited licence to process and display that content as necessary to operate the platform.
7. Limitation of liability
Foralink acts solely as an introduction service. We are not party to any contract between a business and an agency, and we are not liable for the performance, quality, or outcome of any project. Our liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the relevant claim.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
